Interplay of digital and analogue processes amalgamates into a series of abstract narratives, exploring a sense of place and belonging that is rooted in nature.

Starting point comes from recording images in my environment with alternative forms of photography. I then make whole series of tactile and textural images in a printed form. These photopolymer gravures and painted collages are multi faceted graphical cartographies, pressed into paper. They hold otherworldly ephemeral elements of figuration. I like to play with the multiple as a subject matter, running parallels between and around variations on a theme.
